About Training
HOW IT'S DONE
How the program works
We will meet once a week for 9 consecutive weeks in the comfort of your home. Using a proven, curriculum-based program, we will work towards achieving specific goals as well as addressing individual concerns that are unique to you and your dog. During each session, a professional trainer will guide you through proper training techniques, ensuring you’re equipped to complete your at-home exercise throughout the week. In the following session, we will review progress, address and questions, and introduce the next week’s training objectives. This program is designed to solve any and ALL behavior issues you might be challenged with. Our ultimate goal is to achieve off-leash reliability, and building a strong relationship through communication and trust.

Private training Q&A
This program is for dogs older than 5 months
We are very flexible for these in-home programs. We do appointments Monday-Friday. We usually have two morning appointments and two evening appointments to choose from. Weekly appointments are booked on a first come first serve basis. Once we book our appointment we will stick to that day/time for the remainder of the training program. If appointments need to be rebooked we kindly ask that you give us 24 hour notice so we can plan our day to day schedule.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee for our 9 week DIY training program. If for some reason you are not satisfied with our work we will continue to work with you and your dog at no additional cost.
A key point to this course is the work that you have to put in. We can teach until we are blue in the face but if you don’t do your “homework” during the week progress will not be made. This program moves fast as we are working towards off leash levels of obedience in less than 2 months.
You also gain access to our exclusive boarding service. We only board dogs that we have worked with in the past (service is not offered to the general public). We use this time while you’re away on vacation as a refresher to work on little things that might need a tune up.
Dog training is a process and a learning experience for everyone involved. We want to give you all the tools, techniques, and confidence to make owning a dog be an amazing experience.
We believe there is a balance in training where positive (treats, food, play, praise) and structured consequences both have their place. Dogs, just like children, thrive off of structure. Our approach ensures that dogs have the tools to navigate the stress that life can present for them. When using training equipment we always consider two very important things. 1st developmental maturity and 2nd Temperament of your pup. Similarly with children I would not provide a consequence for a toddler that I might implement with a teenager. As dogs age their capacity to learn and handle the use of training equipment such as (slip leash, long line, e-collars, and pinch collars) becomes more effective. Our number one priority is to use every possible training tool/technique to ensure you and your dog’s development into a happy, healthy, well mannered, AMAZING pet that is part of your lives!
Training tools (e-collars mostly) are often a misused and misunderstood tool. If you are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the use of these tools we would love to schedule a consultation and show/explain to you why and how we use them to unlock your dog’s potential.
Any tool can be a bad tool if it’s used in the wrong way. These tools can be used to teach your dog’s amazing things but they are not often tools that are used forever.
Feel free to call with questions.
Absolutely! Everyone can get involved during the training program. We would recommend an adult be present to supervise training sessions to ensure consistency between sessions/handlers. There are plenty of ways for everyone to get involved.
This will vary depending on you and your dog’s daily schedule. Generally you should plan on setting aside 1.5 hours a day (three 30 minute sessions) for training your dog to learn the things we are teaching. Most of the training is going to occur during your daily activities (eating a meal with your family, folding laundry, answering emails, daily walks etc.
It’s a big commitment but we are confident that with the right tools, technique, support, and your effort we can train your dog to be the dog of your dreams!
We do offer payment options for this program. We accept payment in full or we require half of the training cost plus the cost of equipment ($250) on week one and the remaining to be paid on week 4 (half way through the program)
We are not the cheapest option around, so if that’s what you’re after we are probably not the right fit for you.
However if you are looking for a premium experience and choose to trust us with your pets, customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We pride ourselves in providing you and your dog with the highest quality programs designed to set you up for life with your four legged companions! $1400 plus a one time travel fee (based on time travel) the price includes $250 worth of training equipment that is yours.
